Saytan formed in early 2010 in Reykjavík, Iceland. Saytan is manned by Sigurvin Edvard Pálsson, Eggert Gíslason Þorsteinsson, Pétur Már Guðmundsson and Pedro Gunnlaugur Garcia who are bound by a manical love of music.
Saytan performs a mix of electronic music and rock using earsplitting guitar wizardry, drum machines and synthesizers that they have dubbed "Electrock" Their influences range from Television to Yasuaki Fujita.
